Tłumaczenie Livre francaise 01. Vercingétorix

Czytam sobie książkę gdzie opisują początki Francji... taki średnio zaawansowany tekst. Niektóre zwroty sprawiają mi problem

1. Qui sont ces Gaulois que les Français sont si fiers d'avoir pour ancêtres?
2. Comment s'appellent les Celtes et les autres peuples de Gaule? peuples - lepiej tłumaczyć jako narodowość czy ludzie ?
3. Les Français honorent encore son nom aujourd'hui et considerent que leur histoire prend forme a partir du jour ou il s'est rendu a Alésia, en l'an 52 avant Jésus-Christ.

1. Kim są ci Galowie, z których Francuzi są tak dumni, że mają ich za przodków?
2. Jak nazywają się Celtowie i inne ludy Galii? [Peuple - lud].
3. Francuzi do dziś szanują swoją nazwę i uwazają, że ich historia zaczyna się w dniu, kiedy udali się do Alesii, w 52 roku p.n.e. [No, trochę też mi trudno zrozumieć, co chcieli powiedzieć]

Dziękuję za pomoc. W między czasie sprzedałem komuś innemu ten tekst do przetłumaczenia.
Dokładnie tak samo to przetłumaczył, tyle że po angielsku ;)
Co do pkt. 3 jest tam , bo to chodzi o Vercingétorix'a, czego nie ma w tym tych fragmentach tekstu.
1) Who are these « Gaulois » that French people are really proud to have them as ancestors ?
2) For « peuples » it is better translate it as people or population of a country. For example : Le peuple de France => The people of France.
3) French people still honor his name today, and they consider that their history start to take shape from the day he went to Alesia, in the year 52 Before-Christ.
